Jimmy D is a name we all know by now. He killed it last year and it didn't go unnoticed. This past winter, he landed himself a spot on the Geico team and it seemed as if thing's couldn't have been going any better. But in the blink of an eye, it seemed like things couldn't have gone any worse. Hardly casing a triple, Jim tweaked his arm just right to dislocate his elbow and put himself out for 3 months. Replacements were called for replacements and everything was up in the air for Jim.
But needless to say, he's back; and back strong. He has only ridden a handful of times thus far yet you wouldn't think so watching. 40 minute motos looked easy, as his biggest whips and lowest scrubs didn't occur until his later laps. His agressive style never faded nor did his speed.
In anticipation of Jimmy Decotis' long awaited debut in the 2011 Nationals, Ds164 Edits and BROtocross.com have joined forces with Jimmy D in a triple collab to commemorate the return of the #66 at Unadilla Motorsports in New York on August 14. A Northeast local, Jimmy D has always known a certain affection from the Unadilla faithful, and now fans have their opportunity to show the New England native love on a level formerly reserved for large cities and instant message conversations. So don't be caught at Unadilla or anywhere for that matter without your "I Heart Jimmy D" shirt, show some love for the motocross world's favorite use-to-be underdog story.
Enough chatter. Jim's back, he's ripping, you're happy, and so are we. So order a shirt, sit back, and check out this vid. And when you're done watching it, click the like button or copy paste the link because like a PSA, this needs to be seen.
